Design Notes
We treated signal peptide upstream of the N-terminal of Epinecidin-1 to facilitate the peptide production. To make sure the secretion system is work we had modified Epinecidin-1 amino acid sequence by attached an Ala at the N-terminal of it .
We use PQE 60 as vector,so we design BamH I enzyme site at 5' end and Bgl II enzyme at 3' end.
Source
Epinecidin-1 is the genomic sequence for the skin mucus of Epinephelus coioides. We got this sequence from Academia Sinica. Signal peptide is artificial synthesis.
